round and round the rugged rock the ragged rascal ran

A set of forty plaster casts based loosely on the scapula of an ox, with fingerlike protrusions - one for each diner - coated in petroleum jelly and covered in plastic wrap; and a poem, presented in a booklet which accompanied all dishes. Eaten with the hands.

Exhibited as a part of a dinner organised by (lt) and IDES Melbourne. Five courses, five artists; each artist's work corresponding to a particular course/each course corresponding to a particular artist's work. round and round the rugged rock the ragged rascal ran accompanied the fourth course of the evening, ox tongue.

The poem accompanying this work has also been published in the first issue of Vinegar Poetry Journal.
